Ballymoney Beach

A brief to expand the accommodation of a single storey beach chalet resulted in a new first floor extension over a remodeled ground floor.

Looking due east over the Irish Sea, the new first floor extension is constructed as an exposed timber frame with visible cedar structural columns and lattice roof trusses.

The new extension houses a living room and bedroom both giving on to a new roof terrace. The original remodeled chalet and the new extension are clad in cedar boarding.
