Coastal House Wexford

A vacant site in a mature coastal holiday development provided an opportunity to design a compact three-bedroom home along feng shui principals. A timber and steel framed structure is to be clad in vertical larch boarding with the roof structures clad in natural slate. Gaining space from an offset pyramid roof structure using oversized dormer structures allows an efficient and economic construction solution.

The external spaces are organised through free standing walls in a Brigid’s cross formation providing shelter and privacy as required.
