Housing Project Wicklow

A housing development on a western sloping site on the Arklow side of the N11 bypass. The strategy for this project centred on organising a total of fifty-nine detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses around a large crescent shaped green and a smaller landscaped courtyard. 

The goal was to create distinct, coherent, and inclusive urban spaces by harnessing the individual units to form collective well-articulated blocks whilst working within the suburban model. A determined effort is made to lend the scheme a distinctive identity with a strong focal point whilst exploiting views towards the mountains.
