Liberties Terrace House
This early 20th Century terraced house in the historic Liberties area of Dublin was remodelled and extended to provide additional living and bedroom accommodation. The stairs were reoriented to open up the plan and a further loft stair was added to utilise attic space.
To deliver light deep into the plan of the extended house, large, glazed steel screens with minimal frames fabricated by Lambstongue were used along with natural roof lighting. A steel framed window to a first-floor bedroom allows maximum views over an adjacent park.
