Sandycove extension
The brief for this proposal was to improve the accessibility of the living accommodation of this Victorian coastal villa whilst opening the house to its south-facing garden.
It was decided to remove an existing extension and add an additional room of equal proportions to the four principal rooms of the plan. This allows for an extended kitchen area which acts to connect the house back to its garden.
As part of this work, the altered existing kitchen is reverted to its original form and original windows are reintroduced on the south elevation.
