Extened house in Connemara
A mid-19th Century cottage in Connemara required an extension to provide additional accommodation.
To allow this, a previous extension was removed, and a new wing of similar sectional proportions was added via a new low link entrance hall.
The extension also provides two additional bedrooms, bathrooms, and storage areas. The extension is angled and floor levels manipulated to take in views to the Atlantic shore and towards the Twelve Bens mountain range.
A lofted living space in the original cottage is echoed in the new kitchen area.
