Ken Meehan is an RIAI Architect Accredited in Conservation at Grade 3.
In 2011 Ken co-founded the specialist conservation company Lambstongue with Alexander Downes which they ran jointly until 2022. The firm specialises in the conservation, and or replacement of historic timber and metal joinery.
Involved in projects ranging from modest domestic to significant public buildings, nationally and internationally, Lambstongue amassed invaluable experience and expertise.
During this period Lambstongue developed an unequalled capacity within the country to undertake and successfully manage large scale and complex projects. Examples include Leinster House, Humewood Castle, Adare Manor, James Gandon’s Royal Military Infirmary and Bank of Ireland College Green, Richmond Barracks, Fitzgibbon Street Garda Station and the Glasgow School of Art.
